Nordic Walking Course

Participants learn the basic technique with focused individual exercises. These exercises are then combined to create the energetic movement required. Module 2: Jacobson’s progressive muscle relaxation technique
Edmund Jacobson's Progressive Muscle Relaxation is a procedure that aims to achieve a state of deep relaxation of the whole body through the deliberate and conscious tensing and relaxation of certain muscle groups. The individual muscles are first tensed in a certain order, then the muscle tension is held briefly, and finally the tension is released. The aim of the procedure is to reduce muscle tension below the normal level due to improved body awareness and mindfulness.
Over time, participants will learn to induce muscular relaxation whenever they want. In addition, the relaxation of the muscles can also reduce other signs of physical restlessness or agitation, such as palpitations, sweating or shaking. Furthermore, muscle tension can be traced and loosened, thus reducing pains.
